We have a Heiz High-Z CNC router table.

We can can cut wood and wood derivatives (MDF, plywood), soft plastics and thin aluminium.
We are working on making PCBs using the machine, but this is still in the experimental stage.

The CNC machine can cut from vector files (.ai, .pdf, .dxf etc.) or CAM jobs exported (G Code) from a CAD program.
We use CamBam for turning a geometry file into G Code, and WINPC-NC for controlling the machine.
PCB work is done in FlatCam.

Cutting on the CNC machine requires significantly more preparation than laser cutting, so we recommend only using the CNC machine if is necessary.
